As discussed above, this project is meant to monitor heart beat and body temperature. We have integrated heart beat, temperature sensor and a 16×2 LCD display with ESP32 Node MCU. The temperature and heart beat sensor attached to a human body with sense both of them and will send the input to the ESP32 Node MCU. This ESP32 Node MCU will display the result on a LCD as it will show the same in the mobile application. This mobile application can be hold by the doctor or to a family member of the patient to monitor the heart beat and body temperature 24×7.
The block diagram of IoT based Heart Defect Monitoring system consist of:
- ESP32 NodeMCU
- Heatbeat Sensor
- Temperature Sensor
- Mobile Application
- 16X2 LCD
This circuit is designed to sense the heartbeat and body temperature of patient and log at the LCD and mobile application present at the doctor. So, the heartbeat of the patient is sensed through heartbeat sensor and the output goes to the D15 pin of ESP32 NodeMCU. Same way the body temperature of the patient is sensed through temperature sensor DHT11 and is given to the D2 pin of ESP32 NodeMCU. ESP32 takes this data, matches to the permissible limit programmed in it for both and displays the data on the LCD. It also sends these data to the mobile application through Wi-Fi hotspot. Once these values exceeds the allowed limit, it sends command to the LCD and mobile application to notify them.
To avoid the problems and time management, by detecting the heart beat in 16×2 display using microcontroller and Mobile Application
