INTRODUCTION
Now a days many people are using drugs in restricted areas like hospitals, schools, railway stations etc. To overcome this problem, we came with a solution called DRUG DETECTOR. This project is about whenever a person is smoking or drinking in restricted areas it automatically detects or sense and gives the buzzer sound in the form of warning. This makes people gets aware drinking, smoking etc. DRUG DETECTOR acts as precaution in restricted area. It detects and shows the percentage of the drug or alcohol content in the body.
The block diagram of drug detector consists of following elements:
- Alcohol Sensor
- Smoke Sensor
- NodeMCU
- Buzzer
- Mobile Application
Circuit WorkingThis circuit works to check whether a person has taken alcohol or not, and if he has taken alcohol, how much is the percentage of alcohol in him. Also, to check whether the person has smoked or not. There are two ways to check it, one is the person comes and blow his breath in front of the sensor to get himself checked and another is to install the sensors in a place to check if someone has taken alcohol, alcohol percentage and the smoke status. When the person has taken alcohol and he blow breath in the MQ-3 sensor, the MQ-3 generates an output at its OUT pin. This OUT pin is connected to an inverting op-amp to amplify the signal and then the output of the inverting amplifier is connected to the A0 (Analog) pin of the NodeMCU. This pin hence is an analog pin, so it will check the level of the input got at its pin and will determine the percentage of alcohol detected. Then the microcontroller will send signal to the buzzer through transistor BC547 to create the sound and to the mobile application to show the Alcohol Level in percentage. Same way, when the person smokes, the smoke detector MQ-2 will sense that. It will create an output at its OUT pin and this in is connected to D8 pin of NodeMCU through an inverting amplifier to strengthen the signal. When the D8 pin gets signal, the NideMCU sends a signal to the buzzer through transistor BC547 to create the sound and to the mobile application to show the Smoke Detection status in YES or NO.
